All neighborhoods in San Francisco have their issues, but as a community-in-transition Treasure Island probably has more than most. In some aspects, Treasure Island is like a bedroom community with few amenities but better pricing than the city proper.

Traffic, redevelopment, environmental concerns, crime, lack of services are all hot-button topics for those of us who live out here and speculation sometimes run rampant. The articles posted here are offered to raise awareness of these issues as they are played out in the media.
