TreasureIslandOnline.net is my personal blog.  This is not a "Good Neighbors" post, and I am posting on behalf of myself only. I am posting this because I want to encourage all residents of TI/YBI to you step outside your comfort zone and become involved in your own future...

TIDA has been hosting a number of meetings on the Island this past week regarding the next steps in re-development of the Islands. If you have not been to one of the meetings, I want to strongly encourage you to attend tonight (see www.TreasureIslandSF.org for details).

There will be more presentations in the future, on other aspects, but this current series is important because they set the tone, and  talk about an upcoming survey to determine our population and future housing needs, and because its a chance to bring up your concerns.

This issue and topic is close and personal all residents hearts and minds... you need to become personally involved. I may not be able to attend tonight myself because of a personal situation, but please, if you have not gone yet --- go tonight.
