PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD...

Many residents were upset when MTA removed our life line grocery route from the Transbay Terminal to the Safeway by the CalTrans station – now they want to cut service even more.

On the block is  a change on the owl service (increasing from every 45 minutes to every 60 minutes) and a decrease in the number of bus runs during our morning peak hours (instead of every 10 minutes it will be every 20 minutes)

We all know how crowded the bus gets,  how unruly it gets – this will just make things worse.

There will be two Muni Town Hall meetings to focus on FY 2010

Location:         (1 South Van Ness Avenue, 2nd Floor Atrium)

·         Saturday, Feb. 6 – 10 a.m. to noon

·         Tuesday, Feb. 9 – 6 to 8 p.m

I encourage anyone who rides the 108 or is concerned about the proposed changes to get their friends together and show up at one of the meetings to express your concern

There will also be a SFMTA Board Meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 16th 9 am in Room 400, City Hall to discuss Fiscal Year Focus.

If MUNI approves the changes listed above, they are expected to take effect on May 1.
